About Us

Founded in 2018 by, Once Upon A Vine is a small, independent wine shop and tasting room tucked away in the historical village of Horsforth, just outside Leeds.

As you might expect, we are hugely passionate about all things wine, so our shelves are packed with hand-picked bottles from all over the globe—traditional Old World classics, quirky New World head-turners, and everything in between.

As well as buying a bottle or two to take home, you can stay for a glass of wine too!! We change our menu every week so there’s always something new to try!! So we’re a shop AND a bar: a hybrid of the two!!

If that wasn’t enough, you can discover, too, our exceptional cheese & charcuterie boards, available to eat-in or takeaway. These combine Continental delights such as lean, fragrant Bresaola di Punta, aged Jamon Serrano and fennel-infused Finochionna, with local artisanal breads and fantastic farmhouse-cheeses. Our Cheese & Charcuterie boards are the stuff of legend, and unlike many places, here you can choose your own!! Pick ‘n’ Mix, if you will!!
